FEES

Pinchgut Opera is a not-for-profit registered charity that relies on ticket sales and philanthropy as our primary sources of revenue. The cost of operating our own ticketing requires significant investment in personnel and infrastructure.

To offset these costs, Pinchgut Opera charges a once per order booking fee of $6.80 for all ticket orders regardless of the number of tickets being purchased. We charge a booking fee instead of further increasing our ticket prices. Donations do not attract a booking fee.

The fee for exchanging your ticket is $8 per ticket and the postage delivery of tickets is $10 per transaction.

EXCHANGES

For Subscribers
For subscribers, ticket exchanges are available only up to 72 hours prior to your performance. After this point, tickets cannot be exchanged. Tickets can only be exchanged for other performances within the same calendar year of the initial purchased ticket.
Subscribers can access exchanges free of charge, up to 72 hours before the performance. After this point, subscribers will be charged the $8 exchange fee.

For Individual ticket holders
Individual tickets (non-subscriber tickets) can be exchanged for a fee of $8 per ticket (and no additional booking fee), up to 5 business days before the first performance of the production. After this point, exchanges on individual tickets will not be processed.
If the value of the new seat is higher than the original, the additional amount must be paid by the customer. If the value of the new ticket is lower, the excess will be added to the order as a tax-deductible donation to Pinchgut Opera.

You can exchange your tickets by contacting Pinchgut Opera Ticketing by email ticketing@pinchgutopera.com.au or phone 02 9037 3444.

Pinchgut Opera does not offer refunds unless under extreme circumstances, in line with the Live Performance Australia Code of Practice for Ticketing of Live Entertainment Australia

Any discounted tickets purchased via LastTix are final and not eligible for exchange, refund or credit.

If you are unwell and unable to attend a performance, we encourage you to find friends who could use your tickets. You can also choose to donate the value of your tickets to Pinchgut Opera but you will not be offered a credit or a refund.
