Andrew Finden’s current and future engagements include ORONTE Médée Pinchgut Opera Australia, NIXON Nixon in China Theater Koblenz, and MARCO Gianni Schicchi Aalto-Musiktheater Essen.

Important past engagements have included ROCHEFORT Anna Bolena and FORESTER The Cunning Little Vixen Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe, JOSEPH DE ROCHER, Dead Man Walking and OPPENHEIMER Doctor Atomic Theater Koblenz, OBERTHAL Le Prophète Deutsche Oper Berlin and Landestheater Linz, MARCO Gianni Schicchi and YAMADORI Madama Butterfly Deutsche Oper am Rhein, MARCELLO La Bohème Opera Holland Park, GUGLIELMO Cosi fan tutte und MARQUIS DE LA FORCE Dialogues des Carmelites Theater Aachen as well as FIGARO Le Nozze di Figaro, ENRICO Lucia di Lammermoor, and Maik in Tschick, a world premier by Ludger Vollmer Theater Hagen.

From 2011 to 2015 Andrew was a member of the ensemble of the Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe, where roles have included SCHAUNARD La Bohème, ORESTE in Gluck's Iphigenie en Tauride, PAPAGENO Die Zauberflöte, IL CONTE Le nozze di Figaro, NED KEENE Peter Grimes, and SCHTSCHELKALOW Boris Godunow. His performance of CLITO in the 2012 Händel-Festpiele Karlsruhe production of Alessandro is available as a live recording on the Pan Classics label.

Andrew was a member of the Opernstudio of Staatstheater Nürnberg, where roles included IL CONTE in Donizetti's Emilia di Liverpool, DR FALKE Die Fledermaus, DON ALVARO Il viaggio a Reims, and MORALES Carmen.

On the concert platform, Andrew made his Barbican debut as soloist in Alisdair Nicholson's Two Sisters, A Rose, A Flood and Snow with the London Symphony Orchestra. He was a soloist in Messiah for the London Handel Festival. Other concert appearances were with Royal Albert Hall, Glasgow, Strasbourg Philharmonique, New Israeli Opera and Sydney Symphony Orchestra under Maestro Richard Bonynge.

Andrew was born in Australia and studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
