LES ARTS FLORISSANTS : Call for applications

The first masterclass will be led from October 18th to October 20th 2023 by a flagship artist of Les Arts Florissants, Emmanuelle de Negri, soprano specialist in the baroque repertoire, and will be on the rhetoric, ornamentation and interpretation of a repertoire ranging from Boësset to Rameau. Titled “Singing in French music, in the 17th and 18th centuries”, this masterclass on the art of the recitative is for singers (all tessitura).

 The second masterclass will be led from January 11th to January 13th 2024 by the artist Marc Maurillon, faithful soloist (tenor and baryton) of Les Arts Florissants. This masterclass on the art of the recitative is also for singers (all tessitura).

The Lady Mollie Isabelle Askin Ballet and Sir Robert William Askin Operatic Scholarships are awarded biennially to candidates who have outstanding ability and promise in Ballet or Opera.
