Soprano

Brianna Louwen is a Soprano from Western Australia, now residing in Sydney. She has begun to establish herself on operatic and concert stages across Australia, and has been praised for her shimmering tone and impeccable musicianship.

For WA Opera, Brianna has sung the Turnspit (Rusalka), Annina (La Traviata) and Barbarina (Le Nozze di Figaro). For Pinchgut Opera, she has sung Amour (Medee), and appeared in Women of the Pieta. She has appeared recently with Opera Australia, Sydney Chamber Opera, The Song Company, Bach Akademie Australia, Australian Baroque, the Choir of St James King St, St George’s Cathedral Perth, the West Australian Symphony Orchestra, Perth Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Northern Sinfonia and many others.

Brianna is a graduate of the University of Western Australia and the University of York. She was a Wesfarmers Arts Young Artist with West Australian Opera from 2019-21. 


We acknowledge the traditional owners of the land on which we work and perform, the Gadigal people of the Eora nation – the first storytellers and singers of songs.
