Dale is a Melbourne based, Theatre Set and Costume Designer working with all of Australia’s leading Theatre and Opera Companies with additional West End, Broadway and International Opera credits during a career spanning over thirty years. Highlights have included the Broadway transfer of the Belvoir/Malthouse production of Exit the King where he received a Drama Desk and Tony Award nominations, and the recently acclaimed Belvoir production of Counting and Cracking. This seminal work about four generations of an Australian Sri Lankan family received multiple literary and Theatre awards including Dale’s second Helpmann Award for Best Scenic Design.
