Production Designer

Jeremy Allen is a Sydney & Adelaide based designer and graduate of the NIDA Design course and Bachelor of Architectural Studies at the University of South Australia.

His most recent work includes the design of the set and costumes for The Normal Heart with State Theatre Company of South Australia (dir. Dean Bryant), Sydney Theatre Company and National Theatre of Parramatta's White Pearl (dir. Priscilla Jackman) and Griffin Theatre Company and NToP's Orange Thrower (dir. Zindzi Okenyo), the set design for Cleansed (dir. Dino Dimitriadis) and Angels in America: A Gay Fantasia on National Themes at the Old Fitz (dir. Dino Dimitriadis), Orontea (dir Constantine Costi) and The Loves of Apollo & Dafne (dir. Mitchell Butel) for Pinchgut Opera, and If We Got Some More Cocaine I Could Show You How I Love You (dir. Warwick Doddrell) at the Kings Cross Theatre, set and costume design for the new Australian work Flight Paths, (dir. Anthea Williams) and Savages by Patricia Cornelius (dir. Tim Roseman) and Small Mouth Sounds (dir. Jo Turner) with the Darlinghurst Theatre Company.

Jeremy has also designed for the 2018 Sydney Theatre Award winning Stupid Fucking Bird (dir. Warwick Doddrell), as well as 4:48 Psychosis (dir. Anthony Skuse), Ironbound (dir. Alastair Clark), The Tempest (dir. Jim Sharman), Reagan Kelly (dir. Benjamin Schostakowski), Love & Honour & Pity & Pride & Compassion & Sacrifice (dir. Priscilla Jackman), West Side Story, Grand Hotel, UNEND (dir. Jessica Arthur).
