continuo fellow, pinchgut opera, harpsichordist
Liam Green is a keyboard player and singer with a passion for diversity in his musical endeavours. A singer from a young age, Liam turned to the harpsichord while attending the Conservatorium High School, where he studied under Neal Peres Da Costa, and he has since enjoyed the challenge of pursuing both disciplines simultaneously.
As a harpsichordist, he has performed with Bach Akademie Australia, and he is a regular collaborator with students at the Sydney Conservatorium, where he is currently completing a Bachelor of Music.
Liam is studying voice with Andrew Goodwin and finds special pleasure in ensemble singing; he has held choral scholarships with the Choir of Christ Church St Laurence and St Paul’s College Chapel Choir and sung with the Song Company on numerous occasions.
Liam is excited to be working with Pinchgut Opera as their incoming continuo scholar, and he looks forward to developing new skills in musical collaboration.
