William Varga is a versatile young musician who enjoys a busy schedule of singing alongside studies at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music in Composition, where he is currently studying with Carl Vine AO. William sings regularly as an Alto Lay Clerk at St Mary's Cathedral, and also as an Alto in the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra Choir through the Young Artist Mentorship program. This has afforded him multiple solo opportunities across various Brandenburg programs including Inferno, Ottoman Baroque, and Paradisum. He has also appeared as a soloist in Charpentier’s Messe de minuit pour Noël with the Sydney Uni Musical Society, Machaut’s Messe de Nostre Dame with Opus Now and also with the Sydney Cantata Project.
